Employee of the Month – Business Services

Congratulations to Rosie Aleman who has been nominated and selected as the March Employee of the Month for the Business Services Division! As a Senior Buyer in our Procurement and Logistics Department, Rosie is very motivated and demonstrates a strong ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and vendors to complete projects in a timely manner for our students and District.

Congratulations to Daniel Cadena who was selected as the January Employee of the Month for the Business Services Division! As a plumber in our Maintenance, Operations and Facilities Development Department, Daniel is a collaborative team player who assists and shares kno wledge with his colleagues, while also fostering positive relationships with school staff by effectively communicating and going above and beyond to ensure good customer service and satisfaction.

November Employee of the Month

Congratulations! Mr. Chien Wong has been selected as the November Employee of the Month for the Business Services Division. Mr. Wong has been a member of the Montebello Unified School District finance team for approximately 24 years. As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Wong consistently demonstrates initiative by identifying and solving problems without being prompted and is constantly looking for ways to use District assets more efficiently. Additionally, Mr. Wong is personable, charismatic, and always willing to take the time to lend a helping hand.

October Employee of the Month

Congratulations! Ms. Norma Gamez has been selected as the October Employee of the Month for the Business Services Division. Ms. Gamez has been with the Montebello Unified School District for approximately 24 years. Working in the Nutrition Services Department at Eastmont Intermediate, Ms. Gamez is always positive and a reliable problem solver who strives to provide excellent service to her school community.
